Recently, a Union Ministry of Mortal Resource Development, Government of India, decided to update, inside phases, everthing Xvii Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) when National Institutes of Technology (NITs), on the lines of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
